Providence Construction Inc. is the construction arm of Manna, Inc.
Providence Construction, Inc (PCI). is the construction arm of Manna Inc., Providence’s experience in construction and development dates to 1982 when Manna was created. Created in 1995, Providence became an affiliated company of Manna to leverage the construction expertise of staff and provide exceptional and low-cost general contracting services for Manna projects and third-party clients. Clients have included churches, charter schools and other non- profit organizations. Since 2004, PCI has completed 45 construction projects with a total construction cost valued over $50 million. Our construction project experience ranges from new construction to moderate and gut rehab in primarily residential buildings, as well as adaptive reuse and renovation of existing buildings such as schools, and light commercial work.
PCI is a licensed general contractor in Washington, D.C., and a Certified Business Entity (CBE) with designations for DBE, LBE, and DZE. Providence’s long affiliation with Manna Inc. has made it particularly well suited to understand and respond to the needs of local hiring, workforce development, and inclusion. The nature of this work has required extensive scoping, ongoing and direct communication with owners, resident outreach, as well as strong supervision and problem-solving in the field. Our site superintendents also serve as master carpenters, utilizing their expertise to speed up demolition, framing and finish work, while saving money.
